In 1924, a group of people on the northwest side of Indianapolis felt the call of God to plant a church. They met first in a tent, and when the weather became too harsh, a nearby basement. 100 years later, we honor their heritage, celebrate the amazing ways we continue to see God working through E91, and envision a future of transforming our campus into a destination place and launching pad in Castleton. 

Few churches are blessed with the rich heritage that we have at E91. We are so thankful to be a part of what God is doing in our community, and to celebrate, we have several events and initiatives planned throughout the year! SPECIAL CELEBRATION SUNDAYS IN SEPTEMBER

September 8 - Homecoming Sunday (Combined Services at 9:15 & 10:45am)

Join us at 9:15 or 10:45am for a worship service 100 years in the making, focused on honoring our past with a 1920's theme. Stick around after service to view historic exhibits and generational photo ops! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs because starting at noon a light lunch and ice cream will be served. Games, a scavenger hunt (with prizes!) and more historic fun will continue until 2pm. We hope many faces from the past 100 years will join us.

September 15 - FOR317 Sunday (One Combined Service at 9:15am followed by Serving Together in the Community)

Our annual Sunday of service will start with one combined service in the Worship Center. You'll have the opportunity at the end of the summer to pre-register for your service project, as well as to reserve your FOR317 t-shirt. There will be project options for all ages and mobility levels. Once all the service projects are complete, we'll head into the community to enjoy lunch

September 22 - NextGen Sunday (Combined Services at 9:!5 & 10:45am)

One of our core values is reaching the next generation, and we are excited to have kids of all ages serving in various areas at E91. This will be a fun Sunday of vision, as we look to the next generation to carry the vision of our church forward.

September 29 - 100th Anniversary Celebration Sunday (Combined Service at 10:00am)

Registration required for lunch! This is the BIG celebration for the current E91 fam as we focus on our exciting vision for the future, praising God for all he has done, is doing today, and will continue to do for years to come in the life of our church. We'll have one big worship service together at 10am, and then enjoy a catered lunch, bounce houses for the kids, and lots of other fun surprises.
