Over the past four years, East 91st Street Christian Church has been on a journey to transform our community outreach. The Commons at E91 represents a pivotal step in this journey—a purpose-built space that will serve as both a destination place and a launching pad to transform lives, families, and communities in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our mission is clear:
Helping People Take Next Steps with Jesus.
As a debt-free church, we are dedicated to utilizing our campus to make a significant Kingdom impact within the Castleton community and beyond. The Commons will be strategically located at the front of our campus at the corner of 91st Street and Castle Creek Parkway. It is specifically designed as a free-standing structure, outside the walls of our current building, to maximize our ability to address specific community needs.
Key Goals of The Commons Project
Community Ministry Space
The new building will offer dedicated areas for outreach and communal gatherings, outside of the traditional “church” building.
Improved Accessibility
Plans include increased handicap parking spaces near the Main Entrance for better access.
Streamlined Traffic Flow
We are committed to enhancing the main drive for smoother traffic movement, ensuring safety for all.
Enhanced Storage
We aim to upgrade our facilities to better accommodate our equipment storage and maintenance needs.
Celebrating our 100th Anniversary debt-free was a milestone that has marked the beginning of a new era of growth, outreach, and discipleship. Now, we invite you to join us in this exciting phase by contributing to The Commons.
This initiative is not a capital campaign. It's a call to unite our resources and offer sacrificial gifts for The Commons, ensuring that our collective contribution will lead to meaningful, lasting change.
Be a part of something greater. Support The Commons and help us extend our reach and deepen our impact by helping people take their next steps with Jesus.
