Pete has been a lifelong educator, teaching 13 years for the Metropolitan School District (MSD) of Lawrence Township, and as an administrator for the past 24 years at the MSD of Wayne Township. He has also served in Wayne as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operations Officer, recently retiring from that position, and now consulting with K12 institutions and coaching aspiring administrators. Pete also serves as a board member, leader, and volunteer in several K12 serving organizations.
Pete has been a member of E91 since 1986. He met his wife, Melinda, through the church’s JRM ministry, and they have been married since 1991. It was at a youth summer camp in Michigan in 1980 that Pete made the decision to follow Christ and was baptized in the Tahquamenon River. Pete serves as a leader for our Trail Life, Troop 910 for 25 years, and is also the Tribe Leader for the Men's Alliance Tecumseh Tribe at E91. Previously, he has also served E91 as a high school youth leader, an ABF leader and teacher, small group leader, deacon and an elder. Pete and Melinda enjoy spending time with their three adult children Nathan, Rachel, and Andrew.
