Ethos Welcomes Nick Roberts

Nick Roberts knows his community from the ground up — literally. A fourth-generation Lawrence Township resident, Nick grew up watching his family run small businesses in the Castleton area and saw firsthand what it means to show up and give back. That upbringing shaped everything about the leader he's become.

In January 2024, at just 23 years old, Nick was elected to represent District 4 on the Indianapolis City-County Council—making him the first member of Generation Z to serve on the Council and, at the time, the youngest elected official in any of the 50 largest American cities in the country. His district covers the northeast corner of Indianapolis, including Geist Reservoir and the Castleton area — right in E91's backyard.
By day, Nick serves as Director of Community Relations for the Lawrence Township Trustee's Office. He also volunteers with the Lawrence Township School Foundation, the Greater Lawrence Chamber, Binford Redevelopment and Growth (BRAG), and the Lawrence Kiwanis Club. On the Council, he serves on the Administration and Finance, Community Affairs, Environmental Sustainability, and Public Works committees.
His priorities? Safer neighborhoods, better roads, and greater investment in mental health.

At this Ethos Lunch & Learn, Nick will share what he's learned about leadership, community, and what it actually looks like to serve people well—at any age.
